DESCRIPTION:We are proud to bring you a year-round producer-only farmers market to satiate your appetite - locally!  Farmers on the Square (FOTS) operates every Wednesday afternoon in downtown Carlisle\, PA.  All of our vendors live and work within 50 miles of Carlisle.  As a nonprofit organization serving the local food system\, our vision is that local farmers are supported by providing community members with equitable access to quality and nutritious regional products in a vibrant producers only farmers market.\n\n\n\nWednesday\, 5/20 we have a special garden-themed market from 3-7. We will have special activities centered around gardening: the PA Master Gardeners will give a presentation about plant placement\, the Carlisle Tool Library will demonstrate how to build a wooden planter\, and children will get to color garden-themed art created by artists from Ivy House. We also have our regular 26 amazing vendors\, three with a great selection of seedlings to take home and plant\, and hammered dulcimer music by Burr Beard.

LOCATION:Downtown Square in Carlisle Metered parking is available on both Hanover and High Streets. There is also a metered lot beside the Post Office on West Louther St.\, which is free after 4pm. Additionally\, there is a parking garage located on Pomfret Street\, which is less than a five-minute walk from the market.
