By May you will be ready to get out of the cold, dreary weather so why not join the Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce on its tour of Sunny Portugal?   The Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a trip for 16 travelers on Collette’s Sunny Portugal, Estoril, Alentejo and Algarve tour (May 14 – 23, 2019). 



Explore sunny Portugal, with its miles of dramatic shoreline and legacy of global discovery. Discover Lisbon your way with a choice of included sightseeing. Enjoy a three-night stay in a beautiful resort town on the Portuguese Riviera. Savor time to meander its narrow cobblestone streets, oceanfront promenade and quaint bay area. In Evora, step inside a medieval walled city with Roman ruins. Travel to Portugal's scenic “Silver Coast,” dotted with charming villages and castles. Enjoy a sense of country life with an overnight stay in the heart of Alentejo’s farms and vineyards. Find a wealth of Portuguese hand-made crafts like the famed azulejo hand painted tiles and unique items made of cork. Indulge in Portugal’s regional wines during two winery tours. Be swept away by melancholy Fado tunes. Explore the Algarve’s soft sandy beaches and classic fishing villages.
 
The member rate for a double room is $3749 which includes a $250 savings.  The non-member rate for a double room is $3849 which includes a $250 savings.    Single and triple rates are available.  After January 23, 2019 space and pricing are subject to availability.  Prices include transportation from Carlisle to the Philadelphia airport, roundtrip air, lodging, sightseeing as per the itinerary and many meals. 
 
Optional expenses include insurance ($315) and a choice of excursions.  
 
The trip is open to anyone and out of the area travelers can meet the group in Carlisle, at PHL(Philadelphia) or inquire about rates to/from other airports.
