What's Think Big Shop Small All About

Just one product purchase, or purchase of services makes a huge impact in the local business community. Think of what hundreds of purchases can do. This holiday season we want you to “Think Big Shop Small”! The Carlisle Area Chamber alongside our presenting sponsor, F&M Trust, is asking its members to promise to “Think Big Shop Small” by staying local and supporting fellow member businesses during this holiday season. Need that perfect gift for someone? When you buy it locally, 67 cents of every dollar stays here in the Carlisle area.
 
Are you an employee of a Chamber member business? Will you promise to shop locally to make a big impact? How many gifts can you promise to buy locally? We want to know. In December, we will have our “Hero of the Holidays” competition. Every local purchase (around $25) you make that will go towards the total count for your employer as a member business. The member business with the most promised local purchases of goods, services, or special Holiday treats at fellow member businesses will win and be crowned the “Hero of the Holidays”. The "Hero of the Holidays" winner will receive $250 to give to the non-profit organization of their choice.
