We are seeking a self-motivated individual with great personality and customer service skills, a background in banking/accounting would be a plus. The job would be 15 to 20 hours per week (3 or 4 days). The work hours are flexible in coordination with management between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
This position would be to provide administrative backup to the Office Manager in performing some portion of the following tasks:
- Learn how to use Deltek – Vision accounting software for banking functions
- Perform bank deposits, keep journal entries up to date (CR’s – Credit Entries)
- Accounts Payable/Receivable entries
- Pay vendor bills through checks and ACH payments, enter into Deltek
- Answer phone calls and process mail
- Typing for letters and reports using Microsoft Word
- Create job numbers and creating new tasks within current numbers
- Learn to enter payroll information from our payroll company
- Assist in preparing plan submission copies for projects as time permits
- Learn to run balance reports and others
