Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Announces 2018/2019 Performances
A Season of Timeless Stories

Carlisle, Pa. (September 12, 2018) – "There is a power in making someone feel strong emotions without having to speak a word." – CPYB student Caroline Tyndall, age 17.

Each year, nearly 200 students at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) eagerly await the selection of productions the renowned school will present in its annual performance season. These students know the importance of dancing in a professionally produced performance in front of a live audience. They anticipate over 150 hours of rehearsing and perfecting their roles. They relish the magnificent costumes, having over 1,000 to choose from, and elaborate sets that accompany each production.

The new season is sure to delight not only these disciplined students, but audience members of all ages as well. CPYB’s 2018/2019 performance season brings timeless stories everyone knows and loves.

Alan Hineline’s Cinderella’s Ball
The 2018/2019 season opens October 20 and 21 at Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts with Alan Hineline’s reimagined tale of what really happened the night Cinderella met her prince.
