Mowery Hires Special Projects Group Project Manager
MECHANICSBURG, PA. – Mowery, an industry-leading construction company based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is pleased to announce the addition of Hershey, Pennsylvania resident, Christopher Howells, to the team as project manager in the Special Projects Group.
In this position, Howells will be responsible for the administration and management of assigned projects within Mowery’s Special Projects Group ranging in scope from small repairs to renovations and expansions.
“With over 7 years’ experience in general contracting and project management completing small scale renovation projects, Christopher is the right fit for our Special Projects Group (SPG),” said David Cross, owner and president of Mowery. “As the previous owner and operator of Howells Renovations, LLC, Christopher gained experience estimating, hiring and scheduling subcontractors, managing materials, and customer relationships, which are all critical to providing a remarkable customer experience.”
Mowery’s Special Projects Group focuses on smaller construction projects that do not require extensive design or oversight. The company brings the same level of high standards, quality and experience to small projects as they do large, multi-million-dollar builds. The Special Projects Group can self-perform work in-house saving clients time and money other smaller companies may not be able to provide.
Howells holds an associate degree in criminal justice from Kaplan Career Institute. Entering the industry as a laborer, Howells worked his way through the trades to become a foreman, and quickly gained the experience needed to open his own company, Howells Renovations, LLC in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
“We’re proud to have Christopher join the Mowery team and look forward to how his diverse background in the industry will enhance our small projects and the client experience,” added Cross.
