Book Study: Crucial Conversations

New Format for Chamber Book Study
Begins July 20th 

Join us as we host a new monthly book study in the Carlisle Chamber board room. From July to December we will be reading and discussing Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When the Stakes are High.

The monthly book study will replace our former member to member networking luncheons at Hoss’s Steak and Sea House. Since the Chamber will now be hosting breakfast and luncheon mixers we will no longer be hosting the traditional M2M networking luncheon. The book study will still be a great place to introduce yourself and get to know other members.

Book study attendees will read a few chapters each month and participate in a relaxed conversation about what they’ve learned. Discussions will be facilitated by Mike Greene, of Integrity Works Coaching. 

Attendees are welcome to bring their own bagged lunches to eat during the book study and the Chamber will provide refreshments. 

Members will be responsible for purchasing their own books. For those needing to buy the book, we encourage you to shop small and shop the Chamber first. Please consider shopping at Whistlestop Book Shop. They will kindly give all Chamber members 20% off when they mention they are part of the Chamber book study.

Lastly, we understand schedules can be busy. Attendees should feel free to come when they can. You do not have to attend all six meetings to benefit from the book study. All members are welcome anytime.

The chapters to be discussed monthly will be communicated in our Tuesday Teaser emails and Chamber newletter.
