Each year the Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce holds its Annual Meeting to discuss the past year's achievements and projects while pushing forward to ensure a higher level of the quality of life in the Greater Carlisle Area.

This year we are proud to present Coquese Washington, the head coach of the Penn State women?s basketball team. Coquese Washington was introduced as the fifth head coach April 23, 2007. Washington is the first female African-American head coach in Penn State history. Washington led the 2013-14 Lady Lion squad to a feat that no other Penn State team has accomplished, winning three consecutive conference regular-season titles. She was the Big Ten Coach of the year for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.
