Unemployment Compensation: Absenteeism and UC Eligibility-

Absenteeism is a very common reason for an employee to be discharged from their job. When a UC claim is filed, the question is “Has the absenteeism reached a point that the employee is ineligible due to willful conduct?” The presentation will review the UC Law as it pertains to willful misconduct and the absenteeism related UC court cases.
