UPMC Pinnacle Presents: COVID-19: Lessons Learned, Current State and Where we are Going

The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic are far-reaching and potentially long-lasting.   Join UPMC leaders as they share the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on business and health care operations in an effort to help businesses prepare for the coming months.  Infectious Disease expert, Dr. John Goldman will discuss disease statistics and differentiate myths and facts.  John DeLorenzo, UPMC Pinnacle Associate Counsel, explains the legal and regulatory changes resulting from the current health crisis.  Crisis management and maintaining operational efficiency with consideration for staff and patient safety are top priorities for the health system.  Lou Baverso, UPMC Pinnacle, President, Cumberland Region, and Dr. Elena Daily, UPMC Carlisle Site Medical Director, Hospitalists program will share what measures have been taken to ensure our patients receive high-quality care and staff are protected.
