Susquehanna Nonprofit Summit to Bring Regional Nonprofits Together on April 22

Nonprofit professionals and community leaders from across the lower Susquehanna Valley will gather on April 22 for the Susquehanna Nonprofit Summit, a one-day regional conference focused on connection, collaboration and shared learning to build nonprofit capacity and resilience. The conference will take place at the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel.

The Summit is being planned by a partnership formed by Partnership for Better Health, York County Community Foundation, Adams County Community Foundation, The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, Lancaster County Community Foundation, and the High Center for Nonprofit Excellence, with sponsorship support from RKL and WellSpan Health. Together, these organizations are committed to strengthening the nonprofit sector and advancing positive change throughout the region.

The conference will feature keynote speaker Leslie Crutchfield, co-author of Forces for Good: The Six Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits. Crutchfield is a nationally recognized expert on social impact and nonprofit effectiveness, whose research offers practical, evidence-based insights into how nonprofits can scale impact and lead lasting change.

“The Susquehanna Nonprofit Summit showcases the strength of our region when we come together to learn, collaborate, and drive meaningful change,” said Carol Thornton, Executive Director of the Partnership for Better Health. “We are excited to partner with local foundations to help support our nonprofit community.”

Attendees can expect a full day of engaging sessions, networking opportunities, and conversations centered on today’s nonprofit challenges and opportunities. The Summit is designed for nonprofit staff, executives, and board members at all stages of their work, and provided free of charge.
