DVSCP Healing Through Art - Child Abuse Awareness Day

DVSCP is excited to host our 3rd Annual Healing Through Art event on Saturday, April 18, from from noon to 4pm.

Save the date and plan to come out to Memorial Park in Carlisle for this fun, FREE community-wide event designed to support survivors of domestic violence through creativity, connection, and community.
 

Attendees can enjoy several instructor-led art activities, a historical performance, Story Time with Hinkel, yoga, live music, giant bubbles, face painting, free snacks and more. The agency is excited to also have a professional artist completing a live painting during the event!
 

The goal of the day is to invite children and their families to come together and create art centered on themes of resilience and healing. By providing a safe and supportive space, the agency hopes survivors will feel encouraged to express themselves, connect with others, and begin or continue their healing journeys.
