The exhibition, Water, by Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky provides a global vision of the relationship between humans and water. Currently on view at The Trout Gallery, Burtynsky’s visually stunning images are intended to encourage viewers to consider the long-term impact of human interactions with water. Through carefully framed aerial viewpoints, these photographs highlight the relationship between local water decisions and global impact. This panel will discuss issues raised by Burtynsky’s work in relation to current research and activism designed to support a sustainable future for water.
