The primary purpose of this position is to provide counseling services to Dickinson College students. This employee conducts assessments and provides individual and/or group therapy to students seeking services at the Wellness Center.
Essential Functions:
- Provide individual and/or group therapy to Dickinson College students.
- Provide initial psychosocial/diagnostic assessments for students beginning individual therapy at the Wellness Center.
- Document all clinical encounters according to Wellness Center guidelines.
- Consult other treatment providers within the Wellness Center to provide integrated care when a student is seeing more than one provider.
- Consult with other treatment providers, family members, or college personnel outside the Wellness Center regarding clients’ treatment as needed and with appropriate permissions.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings as assigned.
Education:
Required:
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
License as a mental health professional in Pennsylvania required.
