ALLENBERRY LAUNCHES NEW CONCERT SERIES AT HISTORIC PLAYHOUSE, ANNOUNCES FIRST HEADLINING ACTS

Allenberry Resort is ushering in a new era of live entertainment with the launch of an all-new concert series at the historic Allenberry Playhouse—introducing a dynamic lineup of musical performances and expanded programming in one of Central Pennsylvania’s most beloved venues.

Following the departure of Keystone Theatrics in early May, Allenberry assumed full programming of the Playhouse, broadening its offerings beyond traditional theatre to include live music, comedy, speakers, film screenings, and select theatrical productions.
Originally opened in 1949, the Playhouse has long been a cultural cornerstone of the Allenberry experience. With its intimate setting and rich history, it now becomes the centerpiece of a refreshed entertainment vision for the resort.

“This is an exciting next chapter for Allenberry,” said Justin Engle. “The Playhouse has always been at the heart of the property. Expanding into live music and diverse programming allows us to honor its legacy while creating new energy and new experiences for our guests and the community.”

The inaugural concert series will feature a curated mix of local, regional, and nationally recognized artist:

• June 27 — Jeffrey Gaines featuring Sarah Fiore
• July 4 — Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root with Dirk Miller
• July 10 – Swiftie Showcase (hosted by the Central PA Music Hall of Fame)
• July 16 – The Ries Brothers
• July 25 – Francis Dunnery
• August 1 – Shawan Rice Trio featuring Erica Lyn Everest
• August 15 – Driftwood with Cumberland Honey
• October 24 - Bettye LaVette
