The Partnership for Better Health's 2027 Champions for Better Health nominations are open! Click here to view our nomination form. We welcome community members, volunteers, business leaders, nonprofit staff and donors to come together to nominate people who have played a vital role in advancing the health and wellness of our region.
The 2027 Award Categories are:
- Advancing Health Equity Award
- Heather Swartz Volunteer of the Year
- Nonprofit Professional Award
- Community Health Champion Award
- Lived Experience Award
Requirements to be Nominated:
- Focus Area: The work or service of successful nominees will demonstrate a substantial commitment to addressing health equity and supporting advancement of wellbeing.
- Region: All nominees must reside, volunteer, and/or serve in the Partnership for Better Health’s geographic region, which includes Central and Western Cumberland County, all of Perry County, Northern Adams County and Greater Shippensburg. Learn more about our service area.
- Timeframe: Nominations are welcomed from projects, activities, and initiatives that are ongoing, or ended within the last year (September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026).
Applications are due by Monday, November 30, 2026
