PennDOT recently announced the opening of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Community Charging Funding Opportunity Round 4 – Eastern Region, which will invest $32 million into electric vehicle charging infrastructure in eastern Pennsylvania, including Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry counties. Any organization registered to do business in PA, that is not barred from receiving state or federal funds, may apply for NEVI funding. Any interested business or organization should complete the NEVI Interested Organizations Survey. The deadline to submit technical questions is November 23 and the eGrants online proposal platform will be open from December 7th, 2026 to March 12, 2027 at 5PM.
PennDOT hosted an Informational Webinar to summarize the program and answer questions on Wednesday, September 30th at 1 PM. For reference, the recording of that meeting can be found here.
