PCD Seeking Facilitators

Everywhere I go, I hear the same thing: "We can't find enough people." The workforce challenge is real, and it's not going away anytime soon.
At the same time, thousands of high school students are trying to figure out what comes after graduation. The surprising part? Most don't know what careers exist in our region, what local employers do, or the many education and training options available to get there.
We can't expect students to consider careers they've never heard of.
That's why PCD exists.
For more than 30 years, we've been helping students connect the dots between school and the real world. Today, our Career Awareness & Preparation (CAP) programs span every Career Cluster, and because more schools are participating than ever before, we need more professionals willing to share what they do.

You don't have to be a professional speaker. Students need to hear real stories from real people about how they got where they are, what they love about their work, and what advice they'd give someone just starting out. It’s not just about education and salaries - it's about connecting.
A few hours of time can open a student's eyes to a future they never knew was possible, and that's how we begin building tomorrow's workforce today.
