Five nonprofit leaders from across South Central Pennsylvania have been selected by The High Center for Nonprofits to participate in executive leadership programming through a partnership supported by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC).
Through the partnership, TFEC is helping remove financial barriers to participation by sponsoring nonprofit leaders selected for The High Center’s executive peer groups and leadership development opportunities. The program is designed to strengthen nonprofit leadership through practical learning, peer connection and collaboration.
The selected nonprofit leaders and organizations include:
- Samara Scott, executive director of Beehive Affordable Housing Outreach, Inc.
- Jeannetta Politis, executive director of The Joshua Group
- Rita Schaaf, executive director of Join Hands Ministry
- Logan Andrew Daily, executive director of Manada Conservancy
- Jeanna Som, executive director of Supportive Partnerships for Youth (SPY)
“Because strong communities depend on strong leadership, TFEC is committed to investing in nonprofit leaders who are addressing critical needs across our region,” said Stefani McAuliffe, vice president of community impact at TFEC. “These organizations are making a meaningful difference in the lives of local residents, and we are proud to support opportunities that strengthen their leadership, expand collaboration and build long-term community impact.”
The High Center selected the participants based on their leadership potential and organizational impact. Participants will gain access to executive peer groups, leadership education and opportunities to collaborate with nonprofit professionals facing similar challenges across Central Pennsylvania.
“Nonprofit executives often face unique challenges that require both innovative thinking and a strong support system,” said M. Travis DiNicola, nonprofit managing director for The High Center. “We look forward to expanding the High Center’s work with nonprofits in Central Pennsylvania to the Capital Region with this new group, and we are grateful to TFEC for recognizing how this investment in leadership will strengthen the entire community.”
As demand for nonprofit services continues to grow while resources become more constrained, TFEC views leadership development as a critical investment in sustaining organizations and the communities they serve.
